Maddie currently has published forty-three romance titles in ebook, audio, and trade paperback print. Her books have been published worldwide, with foreign editions in French, German, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, and more. In November 2014, her western romance Rawhide and Roses released in Germany as an Amazon Crossing title.

Her debut novel, THE WILD WEST, a Kensington Precious Gems romance released in 1997, received a Calico Trails Cameo Award. RED: A SEDUCTION TALE, claimed first place as the Romance Book Scene's favorite novella of the year. A three time nominee for a CAPA/Psyche Award from The Romance Studio, Maddie’s books have received numerous 5 Star and Top Pick reviews. Personal Information

Maddie is an Ohio-born girl who grew up with flat-land and corn fields, then transplanted to the hills of Kentucky after attending college in the Commonwealth. She has lived in the Morehead and Lexington areas and now resides in Louisville, where she strives to determine whether it is a good day to wear red or blue. 

She holds an Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Education from Morehead State University; and a Master of Education degree in Family Studies and post-Masters work in Early Childhood Education from the University of Kentucky. A teacher for 16 years and program coordinator for another four in public school systems, she turned to non-profit educational work in 2000. There, she managed and directed programs with corporate, foundation, and federal funding sources. Today, she continues to balance her work in education with her writing world.

Besides writing romance fiction, Maddie (under her legal name) has penned and developed dozens of non-fiction articles, books, academic book chapters, curriculum, and other educational products.

Maddie claims two grown children, five grandchildren, and spends her spare time keeping a hyperactive Great Pyrenees named Sophie in check.
